Maths in Room 6
We have been working on fractions. Children were using paper clips to make even parts on their strip of paper. We discovered things like - You need 2 paper clips to make 3 equal parts, thirds.
One of our maths groups practised their number bonds to 10. They created their own (some very interesting) stories to go with their number problem.

9 Dingos' but one got pregnant! When did they start a breeding program for Dingos' in New Zealand!
ReplyDeleteI nearly run over one of them the other day driving across the Nulabore Plain! I don't think it would of made a dint in the population!
Their imagination is wild, just like a Dingo! Nice work.
